Tardive Dyskinesia (TD), is a result of damage to the bodily systems that process dopamine, and is typically caused by exposure to the side effects of certain prescription medications, amongst others psychoactive drugs such as anti-depressants, or "dopamine antagonists" (drugs that block dopamine receptors, used to treat disorders of the nervous or circulatory system). When a patient has been taking these drugs over a long period of time, often at high dosages, involuntary, repetitive tic-like movements can result, primarily in the facial muscles or (less commonly) the limbs, fingers and toes. The symptoms of TD, which are irreversible and incurable, mimic those of Parkinsons Disease.
In an effort to help patients and their families better understand TD this website features the most up-to-date information on this condition, its causes and all known treatment options. Additionally, a free support book and informational packets are offered to the public.

Electrodermal screening is a method of measuring your current state of energetic health as indicated through the meridian system, much like an electrocardiogram registers electrical current into the heart. By taking electrical readings from acupuncture points, usually on the hands, a series of health status readings can be produced in the computer, reflecting major organs and systems in the body. Then by a simple process of elimination, the likely cause of poor function, be it chemical, environmental poison, food reaction, invading pathogen or parasite etc, can be determined and treated.
